The WaterRower Rowing Machine is a wood-and-water indoor rower for commercial use. Each rowing machine has been hand finished with three coats of Danish Oil giving a deep luster and warmth to the wood. Wood has been chosen due to its marvelous engineering properties, primary amongst these is its ability to absorb sound and vibration enhancing the WaterRower’s quiet and smooth operation.

WaterRower Oxbridge/Oak Rowing Machine

The WaterRower Oxbridge is handcrafted in solid cherry wood and features the S4 Performance Monitor. The WaterRower Oxbridge rowing machine is handcrafted in solid cherry wood. Like all woods, cherry may vary in color from a reddish-brown to deep red. Cherry wood, like all woods used in WaterRower construction, is a premium hardwood with incredible longevity and dimensional stability. It will also darken in color with exposure to light. For this reason, all WaterRower cherry wood components are kept in light free rooms to protect from shadowing. A new WaterRower Oxbridge will therefore appear quite light in color. The wood will however darken over time reaching a rich reddish hue.

Frame

Glide

During your workout, the seat glides silently on the rails, according to your rowing stroke. Eight ball-bearing mounted rolls made of anti-abrasion polyurethane ensure perfect rolling on the rails. The seat is ergonomically cushioned, further providing comfort during use.
